How to Speedup Boot Time in Windows Operating System

In our previous post we learn tricks to speedup PC by using notepad. For many different reason your PC boot time performance  may decrease. Specially it happens if you are running number of operations on a low configured computer (such as a duel core or earlier version processor PC). So how to maximize a low configured computer performance? Yes you can do it by selecting no of processor to use in Boot option. Here is the tricks to speedup boot time in windows operating system.

Step 1:

First of all open configuration file. From run or search option run the command “msconfig” and system configuration window will be opened:

Go to tab Boot and in list you will all the operating system are installed in your computer. In our computer Windows 7 has been installed and there in no other OS so you can see Windows 7 in the list.

After selecting OS then click on “Advanced options” and a new setup window will open.

Step 3:

Here you can see a option “Number of processors”. Select 3 or higher if your computer is running on core2duo or latest procesor. If you have Dual-core then select 2.
